Continuing Education Units
A Quiver of Arrows for the
Battlefield of the Mind

Counselors need to equip themselves with the arrows of wisdom that hit their target in the battlefield of the mind. The Continuing Education Units offered in this section are arrows that equip the addiction counselor's arsenal with counseling insights that truly set the captives free and increases the professional development of the counselors who desire to put forth their utmost for the greatest outcome. These CEU's are only valued at one hour of credit. They are a short read in "plain speak" English and easy to comprehend, but each one delivers a powerful tool for the counselor's arsenal.

ACADC INSTITUTE
College of Addiction Studies
Degree Programs

Christian men and women of faith understand that counseling given by means of education alone is empty and ineffective unless God is brought into the picture.  When God is invited into the problem and the counseling that takes place is in harmony with Biblical truth, there is power to break the bondages of all addictions.

ACADC Institute's degree programs are designed to equip the ACADC student to be a Christ-centered minister and counselor without compromising Biblical truth.

ACADC Institute's professional degree programs start at the Associates Degree level.  Students are encouraged to continue their education by working on higher level studies from the Bachelors and Masters Degrees, to the Doctorate levels of achievement.

These programs emphasize proven methods for effective biblical counseling.  Beyond the required textbook reading is a customized project tailored to how the Lord has inspired the student.  This project can further be developed into a Masters Thesis and Doctoral Dissertation as the student develops through self-study.

Which Recovery Model is Most Effective?

Millions of dollars are being spent to fund research to find better ways to treat people who have been in bondage to alcohol, drugs and other addictions.  But research already exists that shows that the Biblical Christian Model far outperforms secular treatment at a rate of over 85% recovery rate contrasted with less than 15% recovery rate for secular programs.  Read the original research, it is valid longitudinal scientific research that has been replicated two times.  Decide for yourself what treatment really works.  Also Read the 2007 follow up study
